Accusations have been made that Basil Zempilas has been using his Lord Mayor social media account to campaign for higher office.

Political reporter and Running Mates host Connor McGoverne spoke with Perth Today host Oliver Peterson about Labor questioning Basil’s tactics and the week’s announcements from both Labor and Liberal leaders as the 8 March election approaches.

“Labor has jumped all over this, saying that he’s not playing by the rules, that he’s got a glass jaw, and that he’s playing the victim,” he said.
