Scam victim suggests troubles were worsened by bank
More and more Australians are getting caught up in scams despite the warnings.
6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy spoke to scam victim Mary Nenke, whose troubles continued with her bank.
“I want the banks to take responsibility,” she said.
Chrissy also spoke to Mary’s son-in-law, accountant Mark Fenton, about what his industry is witnessing with scammers.
“They can be quite complex with what they do,” he said.
