A child is in intensive care and others have “life-changing” injuries after a horrific bus crash west of Melbourne.

Seven children — aged between five and 11 — remain at the Royal Children’s Hospital after a truck crashed into a bus at Eynesbury, 44 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD.

Nine’s Today Show reporter Christine Ahern told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast reports from RCH on the children’s injuries are very confronting.

“We were told some children have had their arms amputated, some have severe lacerations, some have had their limbs crushed,” Ms Ahern said.
