Eleven years after MH370 disappeared, hope builds as the Armada 78 06 offshore support vessel approaches WA waters in the search for the missing plane.

Aviation expert Geoffrey Thomas has been tracking the progress and explains to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont why it is a good thing that Ocean Infinity is pursuing this search without a signed contract from Malaysia.

“If the Malaysians are involved, they will gag Ocean Infinity on what they can release, and it’s highly likely that this will be a cover-up,” he said.
