Sell quick, sell short: the big real estate trends undermining sellers
Real estate experts are reminding both buyers and sellers that, among the many factors affecting the housing crunch, the popular methods of buying and selling property are not necessarily the best for business.
Realmark Managing Director John Percudani told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the combination of low listing volume, strong demand and the tight rental market may mean those looking to buy are having their offers discounted by sellers or are failing to bring an offer to the table entirely.
“In a situation like WA where everybody is pursing a fast sale, they’re not necessarily achieving the best results,” Mr Percudani said.
“If they were able to achieve latitude in the marketplace, they might help other people get a better result.”
