Senate recommends universal return-to-play protocols for sport concussions
A Senate committee has made 13 recommendations to develop binding return-to-play protocols when a person suffers concussion in sport.
Neurologist at Macquarie University Rowena Mobbs spoke with Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live and said consistency is key when it comes to the athlete health protocols.
Oly was also joined by WWOS Producer Mark Foreman who opened up on his history with concussion, having suffered seven concussions and a bleed on the brain from amateur football.
