Seven Network’s newest prime time show has popped like a titular balloon.

Blow Up – a competitive reality show revolving around inventive balloon creations hosted by Becky Lucas and Stephen Curry – received a lowly 288,000 viewers during its inaugural show.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast more established, simpler programs were beating out complex experiments like  Blow Up.

“I’m sure it’s not aimed at me, but I’d be curious if people with young kids gravitated toward it,” Mr Ford said.

Peter Ford also discussed the incredible results for Coldplay and rumours of other cities on their itinerary; and the new allegations against Piers Morgan.
