Gary Adhsead talked to “Miranda”, one of the first people expatriated back to Australia from Israel, on 6PR Mornings this morning.

Miranda – who’s partner is a dual Australian-Israeli citizen – detailed how the entire country had to quickly operate through the shock and fear created by Hamas’ attack.

” I have to say Israelis have got to be probably the most resilient people on Earth; I mean, most of them are not fazed by the siren,” Miranda said.

“They’ve lived through sirens many, many times but you saw thousands break through, and they were just driving around willy nilly as they wished. That was absolutely terrifying to Israelis.”
