The Sheffield Shield game between Victoria and WA at the MCG has been suspended due to the condition of the pitch.

WA were 3/89 on Saturday when the umpires called the players off the field because of the unsafe conditions.

“A couple balls have just played a little bit up and down,” Shaun Graf from Cricket Victoria told 6PR.
“[Marcus] Stoinis got hit in the ribs with one that jumped a little bit.”

“This is a catastrophe, this is a fiasco that we have to get the bottom of,” Kim Hagdorn says.
