Easter weekend was not good for Western Australian footy teams, with the Dockers and Eagles losing in a landslide.

Critical player injuries were blamed for the poor performances, but ex-Docker David Mundy said the injuries allowed some of the younger players to shine.

Mundy told Adam Papalia on WWOS it was a “shocking weekend”, but there were some good things to come out of it.

“There are some positive signs with that next wave coming through,” said Mundy.
