The State Nationals Member for North West Central, Vince Catania, is calling for Coral Bay to become a town.

As it stands, Coray Bay is a privately owned tourist node, and despite having thousands of visitors and tourists in peak times, the area lacks some amenities (clean drinking water, sewerage) and emergency health facilities… but are there environmental consequences if the popular spot was gazetted and allowed to develop?
