Disturbing reports of unidentified diseases in native wildlife are one of the causes of the drastic increase in animal admissions at WA Wildlife.

The non-profit organisation is now opening a new, hands-on reptile discovery centre to educate the community about the issues facing our wildlife.
Dean Huxley, CEO of WA Wildlife, explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Ian and Mick how this issue affects everyone.

“We’re finding more and more that wildlife must be prioritised in terms of disease emergence and research, as it has the potential to impact humans,” he said.
