A regional town 160 kilometres away from East of Perth is offering an annual salary of 1-million dollars to attract a doctor to the town.

Shire of Quairading Peter Smith says the handsome salary also comes with additional benefits.

“We are offering a full income from the practice, a cash injection from the shire, a fully equiped and maintained clinic and four bedroom, two bathroom housing,” Mr Smith told 6PR Breakfast.
