In the wake of the federal government’s social media ban for children under the age of 16, experts have raised concern that harmful gambling ads are still allowed.

Chief Advocate with the Alliance for Gambling Reform, Tim Costello told Oly Peterson on Perth Live that banning gambling ads is easier to implement than a social media ban.

“It does look like a slightly hypocritical divert,” he says.
