WA taxpayers are set to spend $1 million to repair the prominent sign on the border of South Australia and Western Australia.

Shadow Treasurer Steve Martin has questioned the price tag and explained to 6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy how South Australians are contributing nothing towards the shared sign.

“I would have thought that any border signage would be equally shared by the two states on either side of the border, but apparently, we’re up for the entire bill,” he said.
