A book which explicitly details sexual positions and is aimed at 10-year-olds is rapidly being removed from shelves after public outcry.

Parenting expert Doctor Justin Coulous told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings while the information in the children’s book was sexually explicit, it paled in comparison to what kids are seeing online.

“I would actually like to say that young children aged 10, 11 and 12 should not, do not and would not benefit form learning about explicit sexual positions,” Dr Coulous said.

“The thing is, though, there’s this thing called the internet and we have really strong evidence that children are – on average – are seeing explicit pornography online.”
