The number of lives lost in the LA fires has risen to 16, and with the wind expected to pick up again, the emergency is far from over.

Nine News US Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley spoke to 6PR Breakfast show hosts Millsy and Karl about the devastating stories he is witnessing.

“This is a story of people, of lives and livelihoods. There are 16 lives; that means 16 families, loved ones, and friends who are grieving the loss of people who were taken in this fire.”
