Study links traffic noise to blood pressure
A new study has revealed road noise increases your blood pressure and in turn heightens your risk of hypertension.
Using health outcome data from a biomedical database, researchers were surprised to find that people living near traffic noise were not only more likely to develop high blood pressure, but were more susceptible with higher “doses” of noise.
University of Oxford professor and author of the report Kazem Rahimi told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast the research highlighted how much development and the daily rush affects our health.
