A new study has revealed 61 per cent of West Australian families find playing with their children too difficult or boring.

The study also revealed less than half of kids play outside each day.

Western Kids Health paediatric physiotherapist Nicole Pates told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons societies attitudes have changed.

“It’s really sad, but I’m not surprised… the world has changed a lot,” said Ms Pates.
