Sunny State win for West Coast
The West Coast Eagles have recorded their first win in Queensland and their second win off the season after a convincing 34-point victory over the Sydney Swans on Saturday.
The Eagles lost one of their most influential players early in the game with Luke Shuey going down in the second quarter with a hamstring injury, but it didn’t stop their attacking style of play.
Youngster Oscar Allen was back in the side after a week out and has stamped his place in the game after kicking three goals for the 11.11 (77) to 6.7 (43) win.

Nic Naitanui also tried for goal but the leather hit his teammate’s face causing only a minor score.
