The Swanbourne Surf Club Nipper group manager and chair of Sustain Surf says allowing Woodside to sponsor Nippers is just as bad as allowing cigarette advertising to support other junior sports.

Dr James Anderson told Millsy and Karl the health implications from fossil fuels that Woodside emits is equal to the health issues from tobacco.

“It’s no longer appropriate to have children advertising a fossil fuel company – we’ve got about 400 people who have signed our petition,” Dr Anderson said.

“Do you drive a car? And do you have a BBQ at home with a gas bottle on it?” Karl fiercely replied.
