The Brownlow Medallist gives Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings the inside word on the biggest sporting news from WA and across the ditch, including news that Eagles captain Luke Shuey has suffered another leg injury at West Coast training.

Shuey lasted just one contest during Eagles match simulation at Australia Day training at Mineral Resources Park.

Hardie said the 2018 Norm Smith medallist left the ground immediately and may have suffered a recurrence of either the calf or hamstring injury that plagued him the past two seasons.

The injury is a blow for West Coast, who were without key stars Nic Naitanui, Tim Kelly, Elliot Yeo, Liam Ryan, Josh Kennedy and Jack Redden for the match simulation session, while Jack Darling was not allowed to join his teammates due to his vaccination status.
