Today is a special anniversary for the ‘Apple Isle’ of Australia, with Abel Tasman finding Vans Diemen’s Land in on this day in 1642.

Afternoons decided to approach one of the great men of Tasmania, Mr. Matthew Richardson, and ask him to act as the unofficial spokesperson for the state. Enjoy his stirring words!
