The first presale release of Taylor Swift tickets was predictably “a mess”, according to entertainment guru Peter Ford.

Swifties piled on to Ticketek for the American Express ticket prerelease, with blame for server crashes being hot-potatoed between the companies.

Ford told Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfast the extreme number of Swift fans trying to buy tickets was always going to be an issue.

“We put a man on the moon 55 years ago, but we still can’t get these ticketing situations right when there’s a huge demand,” Ford said.
