Team Connect, a Western Australian organisation, employs sports to aid vulnerable teenage girls, fostering connections among them, enhancing school attendance, and improving overall outcomes.

Chair and CEO of Team Connect Margie Oldfield joined Oliver Peterson on Perth Live to discuss how Team Connect is bringing teenage girls together through cricket.

“Our role at Team Connect, which we take very seriously, is to identify all the barriers, remove them and get kids out there having fun,” Ms Oldfield said.

“It’s really important at Team Connect that we don’t focus on the batting or the bowling, it’s actually about the sense of belonging and the fun.”
