The Western Force is bringing one of the state’s most renowned vocal groups to their game on Friday night, to get fans up and singing.

The Albany Shantymen singer Gary Greenwald told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons Rugby has always had an association with music.

“Rugby has a strong culture of singing to it,” said Mr Greenwald.

“You take existing folk history and work it into new music as a way of sharing the story.”
