‘The Australian people saw right through it’: Senator Price on Voice referendum
Australians overwhelmingly voted against The Voice to Parliament in Saturday’s Referendum.
Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians Jacinta Nampijinpa Price told Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live she’s relieved and pleased with the result.
“Overwhelmingly Australians have voted for common sense, going forward and understanding that we should be proud to call ourselves Australian, and we don’t need any more of the division or grievance,” Senator Price said.
“We want to fix the problems that our most marginalised face and we want to do it together with commonsense practical ways forward.”
