A clear majority has supported a motion for the City of Wanneroo to investigate adjusting its boundaries to exclude Yanchep.

City of Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont why the council believes this is in the community’s best interest.

“It’s about being economically responsible and being able to resource the services for our community,” she said.
