When Rachael planned to move to Perth with her family due to her husband getting a job in WA, she didn’t realise how bad the rental situation would be.

Managing Director of Strategic Property Group Trent Fleskins joined Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons.
Trent revealed potential solutions for the Perth property crisis, citing that about one per cent of Perth property purchases are foreign-bought this year.
“Pretty much the only people buying investment properties right now in Perth are interstate people,” Mr Fleskins said.
“One of the biggest things that the Treasurer Rita Saffioti needs to do ‘yesterday’, is get rid of the foreign buyers surcharge and start opening the door up…”
