‘The juggle is real’: Fremantle AFLW Head Coach on life, family and balance
Surrounded by sport her whole life Lisa Webb always had a competitive spirit.
Lisa started her footy journey early, playing footy as a fill-in for her brother’s team, having to ask opposing boy’s teams if they were okay playing against a girl before having to stop in Year 6 with no female pathways to follow.
Years later, Webb became just the second former AFLW player to be appointed as a senior coach at an AFL club, and what a journey it was. Navigating work, relationships, professional sport and motherhood, Lisa recounts it all with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Backstories.
