A peculiar blend of tennis, badminton and ping pong – Pickleball is a mostly unheard-of sport exploding in popularity.

A game for all, Craig Cobern from Pickleball WA told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons that anyone can join a sport that welcomes players of all skill levels and ages.

“They fly reasonably slowly through the air so it’s easier for people to keep up with,” Mr Cobern said.
