After stumbling upon a vacant block in Mount Lawley, architect Andrew Boyne managed to build a house which produces more sustainable energy than it uses.
Blending the indoors with the outdoors, the entire house is an energy-producing verandah.
Mr Boyne told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons double glazing and wood help to make the house energy efficient.
