The soft sell: Fanta accused of secretly raising sugar content
Sugar content in Fanta has been increased — with a 600-mill bottle now containing four extra teaspoons of the sweetener.
The change comes just a few years after Coca-Cola reduced the amount in the soft drink — to show the industry could reformulate without the need for a sugar tax.
The discovery has re-ignited calls from the Australian Medical Association for the government to bring in the tax.
