The theory behind a decrease in underwear sales
Australian underwear sales have been singled out by the US owner of brands, such as Bonds and Berlei, as they reveal sales are down due to a pullback in customer spending.
Research and engagement director at Monash University, Dr Eloise Zoppos, says the sales figures aren’t limited to Australia.
“The Australian marker, in particular, has been pretty tough for them … and we’ve seen a bit of that in international markets as well,” she told Millsy and Karl.
