‘They are willing to change’: Apprentice Network calling for assistance for workers who are interested in career changes
The WA Apprenticeship Network Group has indicated that apprentice numbers are at the lowest they have been in the last 20 years and are calling for assistance in particular for workers who are interested in career changes.
Deputy Chair of the Apprentice Employment Network WA Iain McDougall joined 6PR Afternoons to discuss the incredibly low apprentice numbers.
“There are success stories on what works, but we don’t seem to revisiting those that are effective for industry,” McDougall said on 6PR Afternoons.
“The behaviour of the generation nowadays is they are willing to change, they aren’t scared of change.”
