Former outlaw motorcycle gang member Josh Bolton knows better than many the pain and self-analysis that comes with being jailed for a major crime, and has now devoted his life to help others like him avoid the same pitfalls of life.

Mr Bolton visited the 6PR studios to explain his past to Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings, as well as his current work with the Whitehaven Clinic in helping young Aboriginal men steer away from crime and addiction.

“When you put your family through those stresses that come along with your lifestyle, it’s almost as if they’re doing time with you,” Mr Bolton said.

“It’s never a good thing to come for kids come see their family in jail, you know?”
