The Town of Bassendean is making a second attempt at introducing planning rules that would make it an offence to damage some trees without prior approval.

WA Tree Canopy Advocates Chair Nick Cook joined 6PR Afternoons to discuss the Town of Bassendean’s attempt to introduce rules to stop the damage of trees.

“It really is a canopy crisis,” Cook said on 6PR Afternoons.
