Scalping has become a major issue for people wanting to buy tickets to the Ultimate Fighting Championship 284 at RAC Arena next year.

Tickets to the UFC 284 are being sold for more than ten times their face value on reseller sights such as The Ticket Merchant.

Consumer Protection director of retail and services Trish Blake told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead buying on reselling sites is extremely risky.

“The very big risk you face though is that Ticketek and the event organisers will cancel that ticket,” said Ms Blake.

“If you’ve paid more than 110 per cent of the face value of that ticket, you risk losing that money.” She continued.
