One of the world’s most impressive diabetes experts has landed in Perth.

University of Leicester’s Type 1 diabetes clinical lead professor Pratik Choudhary spoke to 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead and revealed where the world is at with diabetes treatment.

“Ten or 15 years ago everyone was taking injections with pens and pricking their finger but now we’re at a stage – certainly in the UK or Europe – where people are using continuous glucose monitors,” Professor Choudhary said.
