In the wake of a spate of dog attacks in Queensland, dog behavioural experts are hoping to remind dog owners that behaviour issues may be caused as much by them as their dog.

Dog Behaviour Specialist Nathan Williams told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings he takes any chance to remind dog owners that their pets are more than likely going to pick up on their own traits.

“Pretty much everything that’s been taught is quote backwards,” Mr Williams said.

“I’ve been saying and doin the same thing for 23 years, and I’m not putting a dent in the problem.”
