UNSW Public Service Research Professor Helen Dickinson told Gary Adshead on 6PR MorningsĀ one of the biggest issues is that the NDIS is now almost the only way those with disabilities can get support.
“The NDIS was never intended to replace the sorts of supports that you’d get for kids with developmental disabilities in education; it was never intended that all kids who needed support would be put under the same system,” Professor Dickinson said.
