WA delicacy to hit the dinner plate again

Marron season kicks off on 8th January and promises to be a big event, with 10,000 licence holders already registered.
Aaron Moses, DPIRD spokesperson, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Mick and Mark that the freshwater crayfish is no longer limited to the South West.
“They have spread somewhat; they’ve been introduced to farm dams. As a result, their current distribution now extends from Geraldton to Esperance,” he said.
