The leader of the West Australian Liberals has joined multiple party members in rejecting Peter Dutton’s campaign to reject the Voice to Parliament legislation.

Ms Mettam told Simon Beaumont on 6PR Mornings she came to the decision to go forward with her support after a range of consultations throughout the state.

“When looking at this proposal – which I do support in terms of the role it can have in advancing matters affecting Aboriginal people – it’s also important that feedback provided is heard as well,” she said.
