WA Labor is promising to spend $186 million dollars on community sport projects including the Malaga Sports precinct which has been earmarked as the home base for what would be Perth’s first NRL team, the Western Bears.

6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson said while there had been no official announcement from the NRL or the WA Government about the WA rugby league team, the fact the Malaga Sports precinct commitment had been confirmed was a positive step forward.
