The WA Feral Cat Working Group says the State Government needs to make cat containment laws permanent to stop domestic cats from roaming the streets.

WA Feral Cat Working Group executive Bruce Webber spoke to 6PR Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said feral cats were killing up to 47 million animals every year within the Greater Perth region.

“If we are able to confine cats, it would be better for the cats and wildlife in Perth,” Mr Webber said.
