6PR Radio’s Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson revealed on Monday that sources within the WA Police Force and State government were frustrated with the Road Safety Commission with one source claiming the Commission has been ‘asleep at the wheel’.

WA Police Road Policing Commander Mike Bell responded to those claims on Wednesday and told Oly the issue stemmed from the attitude of drivers with traffic infringements up 63 per cent this year to date, the road toll was at 152 and those seriously injured in a traffic incident at 111.
