Athletics WA CEO Wayne Loxley has a identified Perth and the new Perth Stadium as the ideal location to host a world class marathon that would attract the best athletes from around the globe.

The proposal has the tick of approval from Tourism WA the only barrier now is to find a major commercial partner.
