The international fixtures for the 2023-2024 cricket season have been released, including a very important first for the WACA.

Next season will see the first ever women’s test played at the WACA when the Australian national test team take on South Africa on 15 February.

WA Cricket CEO Christina Matthews told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the program was a long time coming.

“It wasn’t without a lot of discussions and pushback, but we did it. We’re winners in the end,” Ms Matthews said.
