Warning as allegedly dodgy property guru targets at-risk Perth investors

Article image for Warning as allegedly dodgy property guru targets at-risk Perth investors

A self-styled property guru will soon be in Perth to spruik her apparent get-rich real estate investment scheme, despite being found to be “not a fit and proper person” by the corporate regulator.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission said Dominique Grubisa – operating as DG Institute – severely misrepresented her licenses and qualifications in an effort to bilk customers.

Australian Financial Review senior reporter Max Mason told Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings Ms Grubisa walks a legal tightrope that allows her to misrepresent her position.
“It’s kind of surprising that she is allowed to operate, as she is in all these legal disputes with regulators,” Mr Mason said.
