Warning the zombie drug ‘destroying’ the US is bound for WA shores
The Australian Federal Police are warning we are completely underprepared for the inevitable arrival of what’s been called the “zombie drug” on Australian shores.
Fentanyl has created an endemic crisis across the US, where it’s use has resulted in the death of 70,000 Americans a year, and a similar crisis is predicted here.
Press PLAY to hear more about the impending drug crisis
Australian Federal Police Association President Alex Caruana told Karl and Mick onĀ 6PR Breakfast organised crime groups in Australia are aiming to take advantage of vulnerable people here with the drug.
“The AFP has already stopped approximately 16 million lethal doses form entering the country since 2019,” Mr Caruana said.
